Steve Carey was born in Southern California, but moved to Connecticut just before his 14th birthday. Steve graduated from Colgate University in 2012 with a major in history. At Colgate, he was the Captain of the Men's Squash Team, a Link Staff Leader and Financial Analyst for the University Investment Office, which oversees the school's $900M endowment portfolio. Prior to Stern, he worked in Corporate Development at 21st Century Fox, where he focused on strategic planning, deal structuring and execution of M&A. At Stern, he is Co-President of the Graduate Finance Association (GFA), Associate Producer of Stern Chats (podcast) and active member of the Stern Golf Club.
