Jim is a consultant at McKinsey & Company’s New York office. He’s served Fortune 500 clients in technology, telecom and financial services on topics across growth and operations. He is a strategist passionate about translating complex data into actionable insights. He is also a part-time baker avid about transforming flour and butter into home-made pastries.
Jim was a recipient of the inaugural class of the William R. Berkley scholarship at NYU Stern School of Business. A Chinese native, Jim was involved with the international community at Stern as well as the student clubs (OutClass, Stern Eats, and Social Enterprise Association). He took advantage of the many opportunities Stern offered to get hands-on experiences in consulting, and worked with clients ranging from fashion designer in New York to social enterprise in Haiti.
Prior to McKinsey and Stern, Jim helped lifestyle brands (luxury travel & fitness) to grow their businesses into new markets or customer segments. He received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
