Jessica Kaliski
Summer Internship: NYC Housing Authority (Analytics)

Jessie graduated from Amherst College, majoring in environmental studies and economics. She wrote her senior thesis on sanitation, creating a theoretical demand model for toilet adoption and doing a deep dive case analysis of India. After graduating, Jessie spent two years working in Cape Town, South Africa for a social enterprise that was harnessing the power (and ubiquity) of basic cellphones and smartphones to monitor water infrastructure in developing countries. Currently, Jessie is an MBA/MPA student at NYU Stern and Wagner (School of Public Service). As a member of SISA, Jessie helped plan the first annual World Water Day Celebration (mark your calendars for March 22, 2019!), and is a board member of the SGov Dual Degree Committee and Wagner's International Public Service Association (IPSA). In her free time, Jessie likes to run, make puns, and talk about human-centred design, Carto, and toilets.
